What is the worship experience like at First Presbyterian?

Sunday morning worship is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. We believe that we are gathered together by God to hear God’s Word, to worship, to pray, to offer ourselves and our resources, and then sent out into the world to serve. On a given Sunday you might hear the chancel choir singing, the joy ensemble leading worship, the bell choir ringing out a tune, or maybe all of the above. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated the first Sunday of each month and all are welcome at the table.

Where do I park?

Our circular parking lot flows counter-clockwise and all spots are equal distance from the building.  If you require door drop off, simply pull up to the front doors.  There are also many handicap spaces available.

What about my kids?

The church nursery is offered to children ages 2 years old and under.  We have a wonderful nursery staff that is ready to take care of your little ones while you attend the Worship Service.

Children age 3 years old – 5th grade will be in the Sanctuary for the beginning of the 10:00 worship service, and then at 10:15, they are welcome to participate in a fun, dynamic discipleship experience called First Kids.

Our 6th – 12th graders meet for Youth Group from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm on Sunday Mornings. They meet in the Youth Room upstairs to hang out, study God’s Word, and have a great time!

Is there a dress code?

We don’t have a dress code.  Some people will wear a coat and tie while others will wear t-shirts and shorts.  It’s what you are comfortable with.

Are there any accommodations for the deaf and hearing impaired?

We do offer wireless hearing aid devices that are interfaced with our sound system, aiding in your ability to hear the entire service.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything or be singled out in any way?

At the beginning of the service, we do like to recognize our visitors by way of an introduction, so we can make sure to greet you.  So if you are comfortable doing that, the Pastor will offer the opportunity for visitors to stand and introduce themselves.  Everyone is certainly welcome, whether they choose to introduce themselves or not.

Aside from Sunday services, what else do you have?

Music programs for adults, Women’s Ministry, Missions Ministry, Thursday Night Youth Group and more!
