Inquirers Class on Sunday, January 28th

The Outreach Committee and Pastor Dee are offering an Inquirers Class this Sunday, January 28th from 11:30 to 3:00.  We’re offering this so people can come to learn more about our church’s history and our ministries, what it is to be a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), and to meet others.  This class is targeted toward those who are considering joining the church, or for those who simply want to learn more about our congregation and our denomination.  Lunch will be served.  Please RSVP to Marijo Hinton at 303.659.2966 or[email protected], so we have an accurate count for lunch.

Donate Your Used and Other Greeting Cards

More than thirty years ago, wishing to show their donors appreciation for making St. Jude’s Ranch for Children possible, the idea was conceived to turn the previous year’s Christmas cards into “new” cards for the coming season. The recipients were so delighted when they received the unique “thank you,” that they requested to purchase the special cards. The program soon expanded to include all-occasion greeting cards.

Operated by Kids’ Corp., a program designed to teach entrepreneurship skills, the children at the Ranch participate in making the new “green” cards by removing the front and attaching a new back. The result is a beautiful new card made by children and volunteers.

Please consider donating your used holiday and other greeting cards to the St. Jude’s recycle program.  All you need to do is drop your cards off in the wrapped box located in the narthex.    St. Jude’s can no longer accept all cards because of copyright laws so, in order to respect their request and make it easier for you, we will remove the back and only send the cards St. Jude’s is accepting.
